Thursday “Fun and Games”

Water balloon tosses, egg races, giant bubbles and outdoor art projects in the Paint-n-Play plaza where campers will enjoy summer weather and win prizes! Camp is topped off with a trip to Coldstone Creamery for a tour and a custom ice cream treat in their hand glazed ice cream bowl!

Wednesday “In and Out Day”

First campers explore the great indoors during a trip to the brand new Monrovia library where word games, puzzles and reading activities will stimulate brains. Next campers go outdoors to enjoy the library grounds during sports games and a picnic lunch from In and Out.

Tuesday "Movie Day"

A fun “movie theme” art project in the morning and then it’s off to the Krikorian movie theater for a family film and popcorn treat. Campers will return to Paint-n-Play after the movie for games and prizes!

Monday “Arts and Crafts”

Campers will use acrylic paints to paint a ceramic statuary they can take home that day. Then campers will use ceramic glazes to make a personalized ice cream bowl they will use for a treat later in the week. After the art projects, campers will visit the Dollmakers/Kattywumpus for a music lesson.

Fun ways to fill summer days right here in beautiful Old Town Monrovia! Creative, educational and super fun activities suitable for all ages, as well as “mini-field trips” each day allow campers to explore their community in a whole new way. Let your kids enjoy a “stay-cation” this summer

Potters Wheel Classes

Learn to throw your own pottery!

Master the art of throwing pottery on an electric potter's wheel. Learn to wedge your own clay, center, and throw with success!
During our extensive 6-week workshop, you will learn new skills and innovative techniques from the talented ceramics instructors at Paint 'N' Play and take home pottery of your own!

Sign up today for our 6-week workshop:

* Six private lessons, 1 hour 15 min each.
* $20.00 per private lesson, plus a one time $25.00 registration fee*
* Tool kits are available from Paint 'N' Play
* Pay in advance and we will waive the registration fee!

Lessons are scheduled between 1:00-7:00pm. Ask about weekend availability.

Mud Pie Parent ‘n’ Me Art Workshop Summer 2009

( Ages pre-school – 5 yrs old )

Parents are encouraged to stay and help their little ones explore the joy of clay. Instructors help to insure personal attention as the children explore their creativity while learning the wonders of clay and ceramics!

* You may enroll in all 3 sessions, as we will not duplicate the session project

$ 65.00+15.00 material fee

Camp is open to children ages 4-12/span>. Tuition for Camp is $200 per week, there is NO registration fee. A 10% discount is available for siblings or for enrollment in multiple weeks. Tuition includes all snacks, drinks, games, and activities. Students must BRING A LUNCH on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
