Paint 'n' Play owners Lisa Barrios and Rachel Quimayousie are the type of business owners that contribute to making a city great. They support the community in many ways. They are leaders in helping the school's not only in Monrovia but throughout the San Gabriel Valley, they also provide art education to our children. They also work tirelessly in providing simple things like a meeting place for local non-profits to providing financial support and products.

In a Pasadena Star New article, owners Lisa and Rachel were given recognition for the founding of this very special program, Hold 'n' Hand & Help 'n' Hearts. They donate artists time and materials for this program. Hold 'n' Hands & Help n' Hearts is a project to help people whose loved ones are being treated for cancer at the City of Hope in Duarte and other local hospitals. They work with the kids & families in making hand impressions in clay and decorate them with themes important to the patient. This is given to the family members as a legacy piece and is a positive experience during an otherwise trying time.
